49ers vs. Browns. Guess that’s not too insane considering we got Steelers vs. Cardinals this year.

Of course, I would rather see Packers vs. Patriots myself, or the Browns. Either way, Packers win.

Wait – the Super Bowl was this past weekend? Daggone it… I really wanted to watch too.

Here’s my offseason prediction: Next year the 49ers will make the super bowl after beating the Packers and the Cowboys in the playoffs. They will face and absolutely crush the Cleveland Browns in the Super Bowl.

(It’s a beautiful time of year – anything is possible)

Don’t get me wrong. I was not watching tennis in the actual sense that I was ‘loving’ it and really wanting to actually watch tennis. It was really the only thing on tv that was available at the time other than the Weather Channel. That is in direct contrast to people who watch hockey because they directly seek out a hockey game to watch on tv and like it. Big difference. And the fact that tennis is actually a grueling test of skill and athleticism while hockey is merely just a club sport for pokes who have nothing better to do that drink beer and knock each other’s teeth out for the fun of it. LOL.

I get crap for following hockey and you’re blogging about TENNIS? No way. I’m throwing the flag on that one.

In keeping with my cynical state about the NFL, I’m not suffering the least bit from post-football funk. I’m ready for march madness, the stanley cup and baseball (especially REDS baseball… WOOO!!!)

Oddly enough, the 1985 Super Bowl with the Bears vs. Patriots was also the first-ever football game I ever watched.

You do realize though that even though you won’t be partaking in SB 43, you will have to make pick on the spread for blogging purposes.

I’d take Jay-Z. I also wanted to include Carmelo Anthony & John Wallace (John 3:16) on the list, but I felt Lane Kiffin was a stretch enough. that is, until I saw his name on an actual list. Apparently the Cuse AD and Kiffin know one another from USC. If Al Davis gives any cash to Syracuse, I’m guessing that well would dry up if Kiffin was named as coach…

Otto does look very happy at this point. Just not sure why he didn’t try to get Greg fired sooner. Syracuse officials must have forgot they even had a football team at their university over the past couple of seasons.

I’m going ahead and saying Jay-Z comes out of retirement and starts coaching for the Orange.
